Program Manager - Crisis Support Accommodation
Lead a unique, community-led response to homelessness in East Arnhem Land
We’re looking for an experienced, values-driven leader to establish and then oversee our crisis accommodation services across Nhulunbuy and Ramingining, supporting some of the most remote and resilient communities in the country.
About the role
You’ll be responsible for managing 7 beds across two sites, leading a committed team of support workers, overseeing case management, driving partnerships with local services, and ensuring we continue to deliver trauma-informed, culturally safe supports for people experiencing homelessness.
Managing day-to-day operations across Nhulunbuy and Ramingining
Leading staff, rostering, and reflective supervision for a 24/7 program
Overseeing case management practices and ensuring strong housing pathways
Building relationships with Aboriginal organisations, housing services, and community partners
Monitoring budgets, reports, incidents and service quality
Embedding local cultural leadership and ensuring services are safe, inclusive and accountab
What we’re looking for
Experience managing homelessness or residential services in remote or regional settings
Strong leadership, rostering and budgeting capabilities
A deep commitment to culturally responsive practice and First Nations community empowerment
Confidence navigating housing systems, compliance frameworks and community-based supports
The ability to travel regularly between Nhulunbuy and Ramingining
Position may be based in Darwin or Nhulunbuy
